So I am off to brush my teeth, take a quick shower and devote the rest of my day to Willow's quilt. Cross your fingers for me, it will be my first quilt I have ever completed.

My Lonestar I am trying to finish!!
September is National sewing month so one of my bloggies is devoting her whole month to a quilt. I have two that I am working on, one for Willow and one for Sage, I am determined to finish both of these by Christmas. They will both have their quilts for Christmas, OK, there I said it. What the hold up is, I used the binding material for the border and ran out of fabric, after searching all the fabric stores and web, I have discovered that it is discontinued, therefore having to rip out the seams and use a fabric that I never intended to use, I hope it will be as cute as I envisioned with the other fabric I had originally chosen.

Are you on vacation? Are you off all week? I'm just a little jealous. Not a lot, just a little.
I find that ebay carries A LOT of discontinued fabric if you haven't checked there yet for it. I can't wait to see the quilts for W & S, I'm sure they'll be beautiful.
BTW, Jack does not own Where the Wild Things Are yet, so that would make a great Christmas gift! Good idea!!!
Looks fabulous! Great color choices.
I'm really impressed, that is beautiful quilting, Looks way to complicated for me, I am envious of your skill, I spent 2 summers in Ohio and saw the Amish quilts, very lovely...so much work.
Looks great, your off to a great start! I don't think I could ever do that. I love the colors.
