Well it is riding season again, so Jay went with me today while I pre-rode our route for tomorrow and IT WAS COLD!! I had my heated gear on and chaps with my face mask and it was still cold. What I can say though is that it was nice. My last blog I ranted and raved about how dirty Reno is getting and now I remember that there is beauty as well. We rode the McCarran loop then when we hit Washoe Valley we rode passed Bowers Mansion and onto Franktown Rd. We went through Carson onto hwy 50 and through Silver Springs to get into Fernley. From Fernley we went through Wadsworth and Nixon to get to Pyramid Lake. It was so blue it was almost Aqua and even though it was very choppy, there were a lot of men (and probably a few women as well) fishing along the shores. There were already Pelicans swimming in the lake too!! We made it without any crazy "Harley Hatin' Mini-Vans" trying to run us off the road so it was a very relaxing ride. We stopped to eat at Chili's and made it home safely. Even though it was cold, it was great to get out. We will do it again tomorrow with the group and Jay and I both agreed that it will be a very nice ride for everyone!

I'm glad that you remembered that Reno is not such a bad place after all. It's going to be cold today too! Have a great ride.
