Running with Scissors: Sinus and ear infection/Strep throat .......NEXT!

Today will be the fourth time in 10 days I have been to Dr. Fenwick's office, this is getting ridiculous and expensive. Jay went to Urgent Care on Saturday, has a sinus and ear infection and finally got anti-biotics. I thought we would end up in the emergency room last night with Stevi, but she opted to have me move appointments around......AGAIN......and get in to see Dr. Fenwick at 1:00. Now my throat is starting to hurt. I am sure Stevi has strep throat, she is absolutely miserable, high fever and coughing, crying, can't swallow etc. So I am sure she will get anti-biotics today as well. I can't miss anymore work, I have been sick on and off myself and busy taking care of everyone else I am going to ask for anti-biotics myself. I will NOT be a happy camper if they make me wait till it's too late and I have to infect everyone at work and miss more work just to make another f%%@%^ trip to see Dr. Fenwick!

Finally raising my prices at salon, first time in 8 years, only a 5% increase but I think I need too since my expenses go up at least that much every year, getting this sick has opened my eyes to the fact that it is time to slow down just a tad.
Finally signed up for a couple of writing courses thru TMCC!
I miss my little buddy Emerson so bad!
It will be awhile before I can do anything cardio, did some damage to my lungs with this pnuemonia, live and learn.
Jay is now working at the remodel up at Montbleu, makes for long days but he is home and he is working.
Stevi is now 18, an ready to graduate and begin her life as an adult.
Stevi will be starting beauty college first Tuesday in September this year, so happy for her, anybody have $22,000 they would like to donate to the cause?
Stevi's last year of competition cheer, she is on 3 teams and so far Dream is on its way to Worlds in Orlando Florida the end of April!
Survived the flu and complications which almost landed me in the hospital. Rest is essential. Learned a valuable lesson.
Working on another quilt, the first one worked out ok, I learned a lot with trial and error.
