I hope I did this correct so you can go to the link....
All of you that read me know that Stevi has been sick for a while and we are trying to get to the bottom of it, so when her friends asked her to load a video of her singing, she really didn't want to because she was nervous but most of her friends have heard her sing, jokingly or to a song she loves, or in the bathroom while she is getting ready. So she did. She had 100's of happy, sweet and amazed compliments but of course there where 2-3 girls that bombarded her with negative mean comments that took the wind out of her sails and she was deleting them as fast as they were coming. These 3 girls, one of them used to be her best friend, but for obvious reasons, they are no longer friends, and the other two are a Junior and a Senior in her school, one of which she thought was a friend. The two older girls pretty much ganged up on her then on her friends that were defending her who were saying they have heard her sing and it is clearly her singing in the video. She just got her Monroe re-pierced which makes her have a bit of a lisp on some of her S's which I think is funny and cute, so it's not as sharp as the first time she recorded it into my iphone. She found a cover on You tube with a similar voice and loved the style the girl sang it in and has practiced to that particular cover, over and over until she felt it was perfect, perfect to her, to share it to the world. I am proud of her. That takes courage, especially from a Freshman girl who goes to a school where there are a lot of Evil girls. Thankfully, the amazing amount of friends that stood up for her and some girls that said they didn't really know her but loved it stood up for her too. She actually had to delete and block these girls and as immature as it was, Bubba took over and I had to defend her on some of the comments. I know it's just a bunch of crap and these mindless idiot girls really have nothing better to do than put someone down to make themselves feel better about how catty and snotty they are, but after seeing her so defeated the last two weeks and for her to put herself out there is a big deal. Thank you to all of the wonderful friends, Mom's and family member that had her back. I know there was some language going on on some of her comments that have been deleted and one of her posts was very angry and heartfelt. As upset as she was with the bricks being thrown at her by these "sweet" girls, I didn't tell her to take it off. I hope I did the link properly above, I think if you click on it, it will take you to her video. If not, go to my homepage and you can find it there. Next song she posts, she will change some words and sing her name into the end so these "clearly expert" girls can say all they want. I'm sure they feel like idiots, as they should, the grenades where being thrown back at them as soon as they landed on Stevi............You are all amazing friends for her. Thank you.

Obviously my new iphone has kept me occupied.
I
can't believe I haven't blogged since October 25th, but I guess so, a lot has happened. If you look at my weekly updates, you can see how many hikes my mom and I have accomplished. We are both getting into incredible shape, the gym has become a second home for both of us and we both started to work out because out clothes were getting uncomfortable. So now since both of us need a belt or our pants will literally fall off of us, I am handing down my pants to her, and pulling all my "skinny" pants out of hiding, some of those are even too big, it's great, I can't afford to buy a new wardrobe so looks like my sewing machine may have to come out. I bought hiking pants and well, they are way too big, but I make them work.
Stevi turned 13 on the 23rd of November and a few of her friends met us at the skating rink, we had a blast, she always chooses such nice kids to hang out with. They say if you don't like your children's friends, then you probably would not like your children when they are out hanging. So that always makes me feel good.
We had the most handsome boy in the world stay with us for a few days over the Thanksgiving Holiday and he was perfect. We took him to go see a movie, which was interesting, we tried to get into Planet 51 which was sold out and ended up seeing A Christmas Carol, not really a children's movie, but when the ghosts were flying thru the air, Jack would say "Weeeeeeeee!" And that kid can eat popcorn like no other, I wonder, when I was pregnant with Jayson I could go through a large at the movies before the previews were done. I guess it is a genetic craving!
I survived Black Friday with my sister and Stevi, only I started at Midnight so I was awake for 33 hrs. Jack, Stevi and Papa let me take a nap for around 4 hours when I got home and then thanks to Jacks hugs and kisses, I was rejuvenated.
And today, Sage and Willow, Liz and my Mom came over and we had a gingerbread house building party as well as gingerbread boys and girls. It was so much fun! The girls did a great job and ate a lot of the decorations but hey , at least I didn't! So all-in-all, I am trying to get back to reality.
Oh Yeah, AND, Stevi was scouted for a travel soccer team, tried out and she made it. Practice starts on Wednesday but the season isn't until February. She is also on an indoor soccer team which just got moved up to competitive level because they were beating the other teams so badly, so we played on Saturday and when we showed up, there were some big boys on the field. We ended up getting beaten for the first time and the score was 29-0, when the boys took off their indoor jerseys, the shirts they had on underneath said "McQueen Highschool Soccer Team" The kicker, most of them drove themselves! It was unreal! They got pretty rough with the boys , excuse me, young men though, I think they were getting pretty frustrated, but they survived, Stevi has some indoor field turf burns on her arms and legs because she went down hard a couple of times, but when she realized who they got beaten by she felt better about it, I mean those boys had facial hair!!!! Geez!

A Bend on the Road......
The trip up to Bend seemed long, only because we hit 3 different construction zones that were down to one lane with a pilot car. Stevi and I started by stopping and using a buy one get one free entree at Q'Doba then we hit the road for 4 hours and our next stretch stop was at Harold's Frosty Freeze in Alturas for an ice cream. We didn't need gas until we got to Klammoth Falls and as you can see, Stevi was the cutest bug washer in all of Oregon. When we finally arrived in Bend it was almost 9 so of course we could only visit for a few min

Today was an entertaining day.
I started my day planning on relaxing and doing nothing......wrong!

Jay had poker night with the guys so Stevi and I invited my mom out for girls night out and we went to Silver Peak for dinner and then went and saw "The Hangover". If you haven't seen it, you have to go! It is hilarious, obnoxious and wrong but will make you laugh.......it could and has happened. We have all had one of those "next days" where we are doing the "Walk of Shame" the next day and can't remember what the hell happened! Awesome!

Still going to Oregon...change in direction...
Well, Nationals are off.....the team can't go because not all the families can afford it. Bad.......BUT GOOD! Stevi and I are going to stay with Jack and Chrissi for a few days and get some serious sugar from Jack! I can't believe he will be 2 in a month and I still am not sure what to get him but we will figure it out. I am so excited, we haven't seen him in 4 months and it feels like forever. Juniper pool here we come......and the Pancake house maybe we can take him on a little day trip somewhere, even thought Chrissi does daycare out of her home now, I am sure taking that little Angel away from him for a few hours will help. I am so excited.......and Tutu (Jacks Maternal Grandma) is in town so maybe we can take the kids somewhere together! Thanks Chrissi, see you Wednesday evening! Muah!

Today we head to San Jose.....

This morning I will head over to Christi's house pick up her and Maddi, bring Maddi to school, go to the salon, do our hair for the show then hit the road. I travel well with Christi, we pack snacks and only stop to get another Starbucks and to pee. She is truly like my "Sister from another Mister."
I love going up with Christi, she has to work it and I don't therefore, I have all day Saturday to read, chill or just walk around. This year I have been stashing a little more money so I have a little more to spend, not much mind you, but some. I drive, Christi got the room. Tita, Angie and Jeanne will be meeting us up there on Saturday night, it should be a fun weekend, I have been torn what to do with my hair, as you can see last year it was pretty normal, so I am going shorter and bright red today with black chunks........Hope Adam doesn't see me, if he does, he may go straight!
PS Remind me when I get back to tell you a hair raising story, I don't have the time this morning, but you will like it........or not.

Girls just want to have fun.
Who needs a photo-booth when you have a digital camera? Since We have sold alot of our stuff Stevi and I have been out looking for decor so we can make our new arrangements a little more fun and exciting. Here's what we have come up with from top to bottom.
Bathroom, white and pale yellow with crisp accents maybe some tulips thrown in for decor. Her homework room, black white and red with inspirational sayings on walls and one red wall. Her bedroom she will be getting a full or double bed, and the colors she chose are Bright neon green and teal with black to tone it down. We really have been fun window shopping and soon we will be ready, less than 2 weeks to go and her bed is now officially Jacob's bed. This weekend we will be getting the awning, hot tub and gazebo ready to go and return our defective fire-pit. And get Stevi ready for tryouts, and life in general......pack, you know fun stuff.
