Crank it is..........

This is the book that was voted on for our first book club read.  I am not sure if you can get it at the library but I do know that my sister has offered her copy to the first ask to borrow it.  She says it is a  very easy read, I am still not sure how to do this at all so please give me some suggestions if need be.  We will start on January 1st.  I was thinking of calling it "The Book Thoughts for Thursday."  So every Thursday we will post what our thoughts are on the book for the week.  There are 537 pages in my copy but it is very easy reading so how does 135 pages a week sound to complete this book in 1 month?  It is written more like poetry so that should be easy for all of us even if we are reading other books, completing projects etc.  Let me know your opinions on this!

Whhoops... sorry... I spoke too soon. I must have purged it with the rest of the stuff that didn't get purchased at my yard sale last September. Gosh, I thought I kept it, but I guess not. Sorry!

MY WEEK IN A NUTSHELL 2-24-15

  • Finally raising my prices at salon, first time in 8 years, only a 5% increase but I think I need too since my expenses go up at least that much every year, getting this sick has opened my eyes to the fact that it is time to slow down just a tad.
  • Finally signed up for a couple of writing courses thru TMCC!
  • I miss my little buddy Emerson so bad!
  • It will be awhile before I can do anything cardio, did some damage to my lungs with this pnuemonia, live and learn.
  • Jay is now working at the remodel up at Montbleu, makes for long days but he is home and he is working.
  • Stevi is now 18, an ready to graduate and begin her life as an adult.
  • Stevi will be starting beauty college first Tuesday in September this year, so happy for her, anybody have $22,000 they would like to donate to the cause?
  • Stevi's last year of competition cheer, she is on 3 teams and so far Dream is on its way to Worlds in Orlando Florida the end of April!
  • Survived the flu and complications which almost landed me in the hospital. Rest is essential. Learned a valuable lesson.
  • Working on another quilt, the first one worked out ok, I learned a lot with trial and error.
